Fresh appeal for information on fatal Belfast collision - PSNI keen to speak to man who gave assistance at scene

Constable Michael McNee said: “Police received a report at around 6.20pm that a silver Chrysler Ypsilon car had struck a male pedestrian.
"Sadly, the male pedestrian, 46-year-old John Newcomb, passed away in hospital a couple of weeks later due to injuries sustained in the collision.

Hide Ad"We appreciate all of the information we have received to date but we are making a fresh appeal to any witnesses who haven't yet spoken to police to get in touch with us.
"We are particularly keen to speak to a male who we believe provided assistance at the scene and who left before the arrival of police.
"We are also renewing our appeal for drivers who have dashcams fitted in their cars or motorcyclists with helmet cameras, and who would have been in the Kingsway area around the time the collision occurred, to contact police quoting reference 1003 26/12/19.”
