Harsh bin decision by Belfast
No-one can reasonably object to recycling food waste.
But for octogenarians who have been in their house since 1964, a disabled father and confined to his room, a mother with dementia – one wonders how much respect or consideration of a vulnerable group was given by Belfast City Council in coming to their three strikes decision?
Struggling to stay in their own much-loved home will become harder for those simply unable to separate waste items and left with full bins of stinking rubbish.
These people already get very very little for their £3000+ rates.
