A 19-year-old male has been charged with attempted murder following a stabbing in Newcastle, Co Down on Friday.
The man is due to appear at Newtownards Magistrates’ Court today.
A police spokesperson said the incident happened close to a bar on the Bryansford Road shortly before midnight. Two males were taken to hospital for treatment. The charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
