A 46-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place after an incident at a Belfast roundabout yesterday.

The charge arose after the PSNI carried out an investigation after an incident at the Michael Ferguson roundabout in west Belfast on Monday 14th September.

He is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court today.

A second male arrested (17-years) in connection with the incident was released on bail pending further police enquiries.
